After thoroughly examining this case and searching some of the stranger corners of the internet, the two conspiracies still remain. The first discusses how many of the people that have claimed to play Polybius have different accounts of how the game played, leading readers to believe it wasn’t real at all. Alternatively, the case that holds the most realistic answers is the possibility that it was an extension of MK-Ultra. While both cases have few but strong amounts of evidence, Polybius’ existence remains a mystery to the querying minds of the internet. The game’s addictive design and fatal features were most likely results of MK-Ultra’s twisted experiments.
